Dr. Navin Nainwal (Ph.D. Agriculture & MBA-Marketing), is a Visiting Research Scholar – ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hub for Driving Farming Productivity & Disease Prevention, Institute for Integrated and Intelligent Systems, Griffith University, Nathan, QLD-4111, Australia

He has done his Advanced Management Training from Europe (Italy, France and Switzerland); “Practical Management Course for vegetable Production” from PTC + International, Ede, the Netherlands and International R & D Course in Protected Cultivation at Volcani Research Centre, ARO, Israel.

He worked in World Bank Project, Bill & Melinda Gate Foundation Project, BMGF, Asian Development Bank-Japanese Fund for Poverty Reduction (ADB-JFPR) project, Uttarakhand Forest & Resource Management Project-Japan International Cooperation Agency (UFRMP-JICA) carries 30 years of experience of working on diversification of traditional crops to high value horticultural crops, organizing Farmer Associations/ Farmer Clusters; established Pack houses  and processing units for improving value chains of walnut, litchi and apple, fruits & vegetables for promotion of marketing and exports.

He is widely travelled to USA (2), Canada, Australia (2), China, Israel (2), Russia, France (5), Germany (2), Turkey, the Netherlands (2) and Thailand (2), Hong Kong, Macao, Nepal, Oman, Lao PDR etc.

Dr. Nainwal is one of the best horticulture experts of walnut and other nuts. He is known for his works in Temperate Himalayan Horticulture, protected horticulture and horticulture tourism.
